Groups for individuals with autism or developmental disabilities

At Monarch House, we offer a variety of group programs to individuals who are affected by any behavioural, communication, and learning difficulties as well as developmental delays. Our groups are run by clinicians enrolled in or in receipt of a Master’s degree program. All of our groups include a brief parent and individual assessment and goal setting session where an individualized program is designed and goals are worked on in a peer group with similar goals.

Group programs are offered both on weekdays and weekends. Talk to us to find out more.

• Social Skills groups

Groups for ages 12-19:
Our groups are designed for skill enhancement in the areas of independent and life skills. Our programs evaluate, track, and teach functional, adaptive, and self-help skills to increase independence. Group curriculum areas include:
• Home Skills
• Community Participation
• School Skills Assessment
• Pre-appointment Vocational Skills
• Independent Living Skills
• Social skill curriculum is also embedded in all group programing
