Dear member of the autism community,
In December 2016, the Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD) announced that it would no longer be providing funding to community organizations, such as ACT – Autism Community Training, to provide autism information/support services to families and community professionals. Instead, MCFD will be taking over these services, beginning July 1, 2017.
At ACT, we are not sure that there has been adequate consultation with the autism community prior to government’s decision to integrate autism information and support services into those provided directly by MCFD. This survey is designed to give YOU the opportunity to provide input on where you would prefer to access information and support services for individuals with autism.
Thank you for taking the time to respond. It will take less than 2 minutes of your time, and by completing it you can enter a draw for a $100 Amazon gift card.
Findings from the survey will be shared in a report to the Ministry of Children and Family Development. The report will not personally identify any respondents, and your responses will not impact your ability to access services by ACT or the MCFD.
